BUNDI is a unique all-in-one sleeping bag with zippers under the sleeves. With the zippers open it is a normal sleeping bag, with the zippers closed it is a mild alternative to swaddling. Your child can move a little more than with traditional swaddling, but no longer mow with his or her arms.

Swaddling is a fairly tough method to get your baby to calm down in bed. The BUNDI sleeping bag is a mild alternative where nothing can go wrong. Simply put the sleeping bag on your child and zip the sleeves. The special stretch fabric ensures that children can move normally, but can no longer mow with their arms. For example, a strong baby can still put his hands to his mouth and show the natural sleep and hunger signals.

BUNDI is handmade in Europe from the best quality fabrics. The sleeping bag is made of a very nice soft jersey (92% cotton and 8% elastane). All Fedde&Kees fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified and therefore better for people and the environment.

The BUNDI sleeping bag can also be used if your child is already rolling over
Is your baby rolling yet? The Fedde&Kees method is also safe then. We recommend the combination with the NUNKI sheet. The sheet delays the moment of rolling over, so you can continue using this method for longer. Most babies who can roll are strong enough to be able to push themselves up on their stomach, even when the zippers of the BUNDI sleeping bag are down. See here an example of a 5 month old baby: 
Always test in the playpen to see if your baby is strong enough. If not, we advise you not to use the zippers anymore. Can your baby roll over yet? Then Fedde&Kees advises to only use the sleeping bag in combination with the Nunki sheet. Do you have doubts about your situation? Please contact us.

The sleeves of the BUNDI sleeping bag should be tight. Therefore, never order a size larger and only wear a romper under the sleeping bag. Before putting on, roll up the sleeve cuff, put your fist through it, pull the BUNDI up over the shoulder fabric and then unroll the cuff again. The airy fabric allows you to use the sleeping bag all seasons. By combining the airy sleeping bag with different layers of bedding (for example NUNKI + blanket) you can regulate the heat better. Every child reacts differently to temperature and not every house is the same. It is much easier to add heat (winter) than to take heat away (summer). NB! Feel the neck and feet to check whether your baby is not getting too warm. The skin should not feel clammy or cold in these areas.
